For the reliable quality control of aviation fuels with Jet A1 sampling systems
Barthel Sampling Systems design Jet A1 and AvGas sampling units, which follow basically the EI / JIG STANDARD 1530 for quality assurance in the production, storage and distribution of aviation fuels and also meets individual requirements.

▶️ Precision testing including a VISIJAR for optical inspection,
▶️ Shell Water Detector Test (SWD) or Velcon Hydrokit Test.
▶️ Easy-to-use self-closing valves and a protective cabinet for 24/7 safe operation.
▶️ Environmentally friendly with a facility to return unused samples to the process.
The VISIJAR component ensures easy detection of impurities and suspended water, enhancing the "clear and bright" quality control of aviation fuels.

520 kilos in weight - more than two meters in length - made of steel - equipped with MSR technology including on-site control cabinet and various fittings.
We are talking about the "GESTRA Condensate Recovery and Return System QuickCC".
Condensate temperatures of up to 98 °C can be processed here. ♨️
The condensate collection system leaves our ramp today and is fitted with the following valves and pumps, among others:
▶️ 4x Globe Valves (type GAV)
▶️ 2x Non-Return Valves (type GESTRA RK41)
▶️ 2x Condensate Pump (from Grundfos)
▶️ 2x Manometer with manometer shut-off valve (from WIKA)
▶️ Bimetal indicator thermometer (from WIKA)
▶️ Level electrode type NRGS 1-11 (GESTRA boiler electronics)
▶️ Local control cabinet type NRSP

The SMM is right around the corner!
At the beginning of September - shortly after the ACHEMA in Frankfurt - the second major trade fair will take place: The SMM in Hamburg. From September 6th to 9th, the exhibition halls will be completely dedicated to the leading international maritime trade fair. You will find us in hall A1 at booth 427 - we are looking forward to your visit!
Barthel Armaturen at the ACHEMA 2022 Frankfurt!
On the 22. August the ACHEMA fair will be opened. You will find us in hall 8. We are excited about the informative dialogues.
It can be worth upgrading and repairing 50 year old valves.
Valves in autoclaves are exposed to extreme conditions. From abrasive media to temperatures of 180 degrees Celsius, gate and butterfly valves must close and withstand pressures of up to 12 bar. These 50-year-old gate valves have been given a new look.
To be more specific:
✅Sealing surfaces reworked and new gaskets installed
✅Wedge plates provided with buildup welds and turned down
✅Spindle renewal
✅Output bushings renewed
✅Sealing surfaces of the flanges turned over
✅Pressure tests made
✅Electrical end position adjustments carried out
✅Actuator renewal
And the result are impressive! Here's to the next 50 years of baking stones in the autoclaves.
